Electric Houndstooth is made by embroidery using a Brother Innovis A150 sewing machine. Material: canvas, red and black cotton/polyester yarn. The field is generated in Processing putting the center at 0 Volts and the Pied-de-Poule (houndstooth) contour at 1 Volt,
then solving Laplace’s equation. The field lines are found by steepest descent algorithm.
